Bollywood actress Konkana Sen, who has played unconventional roles
conventionally, is all set to play tough cop for the first time in
Sonakshi Sinha’s Akira. According to latest buzz the role was originally
offered to Tabu.
The report published by Mumbai Mirror revealed that the makers had
approached Tabu for the role but due to monitory and date issues the
deal could not get fixed.
Furthermore, it stated that the makers didn’t had to face any such issue with Konkana.
Konkana, who is currently in Kolkata, will join the cast early next month in Mumbai.
The film also stars Anurag Kashyap and Amit Sadh in pivotal roles. It is expected to release later this year.
